The graduation project "Expelling Unwanted Guests", supervised by Prof. Cheng-Hsiang Yang, has received the 2026 Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design, earning international recognition for its design excellence.
Inspired by the folk beliefs surrounding Baoyi Dafu (Wanggong) at Zhongshun Temple in Muzha, this project explores the cultural significance of warding off evil, dispelling misfortune, and seeking blessings and protection within local religious traditions. By reinterpreting these rich cultural narratives through contemporary design, the project brings Taiwan's unique folk beliefs and cultural heritage to the international stage.
