
To deepen international academic cooperation and expand cross-border learning opportunities for students, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) welcomed a delegation from its sister university, Universitas Sugeng Hartono (USH), Indonesia, on December 15. During the visit, the two institutions formally signed a cooperation agreement for the Digital Marketing Design 2+2 Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program, marking another important milestone in their collaborative partnership.
The USH delegation was led by Dr. Rector Jacob F. N. Dethan and Vice Rector Dr. Ahmad Aufar Ribhi. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the President of MCUT, Dr. Thu-Hua Liu; the Dean of the Office of International Affairs, Dr. Chieh-Lan Li; the Chair of the Bachelor’s Program in Digital Marketing Design, Dr. Li-Fang Sun; and the Director of the Division of Global Cooperation and Exchange, Office of International Affairs, Mr. Christian Jacobsen.
During the visit, the USH delegation first toured the MCUT University History Gallery to gain insights into the university’s educational philosophy and development. Over a lunch meeting, representatives from both institutions further exchanged views on future collaboration directions and student exchange mechanisms. In the afternoon, Dr. Chin-Hsiang Lin guided the delegation through the Bachelor’s Program in Digital Marketing Design, introducing its curriculum features and teaching approach. The visit concluded at the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Research Center, where Dr. Yu-Tzu Lin shared the center’s research achievements and future development plans, offering guests a comprehensive overview of MCUT’s strengths in teaching and research.
Through the signing of this 2+2 Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program agreement, MCUT and USH aim to further strengthen academic exchange and talent cultivation, providing students with more diverse learning pathways and an enhanced global perspective while jointly nurturing globally competitive professionals.
